A French Farmers’ Market

The market 1

This weekend I found myself in the very fortunate position of being a guest at a wonderful wedding near the medieval town of St Antonin Noble Val in the south of France.

St Antonin

Despite some unseasonably awful weather and near constant drizzle, a fabulous time was had by all. The food was amazing, the bride was beautiful (as always) and the dancing was somewhat frenetic!

The following day, nursing slight hangovers, it was time to pay a visit to the legendary farmers’ market that takes over the entire town each and every Sunday. Since I didn’t have any time to cook this weekend, I thought I should at least share some pictures of the amazing produce that was on show.

I urge you to head to St Antonin Noble Val at the earliest possible opportunity, it’s a seriously beautiful place and a foodie paradise!
